2355This is a shock-resistant air hardening steel with exceptional impact properties and the highest hardenability of shock resisting grades of tool steel.
4130This is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with high strength, toughness, and hardenability. It is weldable in all commercial methods and is readily machined in its normalized/tempered condition.
4140This is a chromium-, molybdenum-, and manganese-containing low alloy steel. It has high fatigue strength, abrasion and impact resistance, toughness, and torsional strength.
4142This is a Nickel/Moly alloy with extremely good toughness, stability in heat treatment, and case depth. It is a low carbon case hardening alloy that has a tough, ductile core.
