WHO WE ARE
John Hernandez and Art Pierce founded Tamshell Corporation in 1980, in a small warehouse in Norwalk, California.
Their goal was to manufacturer quality tight-tolerance parts, and build strong relationships, while striving for exceptional customer service. In those days, manufacturing parts on conventional Lathes and Mills wasn’t easy and took a steady hand and dedication to ensure quality.
John and Art still believe that customer service and quality parts are number one and continue to instill this in Tamshell’s culture.
We’ve manufactured great parts in the past. Today, we continue to manufacture great parts.
We are a leading plastic, aluminum, brass and bronze machine shop in North America. Through years of hard work Tamshell has grown into a new home which is located in a 20,000 square foot temperature controlled facility in Corona, California.
Tamshell’s facility is equipped with innovative 5-Axis CNC machinery, which allows us to machine complex components to meet every specification on your drawing. In addition to our machinery, our custom in house tooling minimizes production downtime, ensuring you receive competitive and accurate lead times.
At Tamshell we believe in treating our customers how we want to be treated: with professionalism, patience and trustworthy service.
There are a lot of manufacturers that do what we do. They share the same what and how, but our partners work with us for our why and who. We don’t just manufacturer their parts, we understand their businesses, and what types of materials work best for their components.
The partnerships Tamshell has built over the years have been because we realize our success comes directly from helping our clients be successful.
