Beryllium Copper Contract Manufacturing

Beryllium copper is a highly versatile alloy that offers a unique combination of properties making it ideal for custom manufacturing of machined parts. With a tensile strength and excellent thermal conductivity, beryllium copper can withstand demanding conditions while efficiently dissipating heat. Its ductility and weldability allow for intricate designs and easy integration into various applications, while its resistance to non-oxidizing acids and abrasive wear ensures durability in harsh environments. Additionally, the alloy’s resistance to galling makes it particularly suited for precision parts where wear is a concern. Overall, beryllium copper’s strength, machinability, and resilience make it a preferred choice for industries requiring high-performance components.

C182/C18200Copper alloy with 0.5–3% beryllium. It has a high strength (up to 1,400 MPa), good thermal conductivity (62 Btu/h-ft-°F or 107 W/m-K), and a solid melting point of 1590 °F (866 °C).
It is ductile, weldable, and machinable, resistant to non-oxidizing acids, abrasive wear, and galling.
It’s also used for its ductility, weldability in metalworking, and machining properties.
